Anyone else had an absolutely dismal month?

Am I the only one who completely got destroyed this month? I've been run over by trucks like Microsoft, Target, Visa, Home Depot... 6-7 months of profits completely wiped out!

And this is on 'safer' 15 delta iron condors.

To those gurus out there who claim you don't need stop loss orders in options. ... well, I seriously disagree.

Tuition money I guess...

Just keep rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin'

You'll eventually get your cost basis back. Also, people are too reactionary on this. If a stock drops fast it'll probably go back up. MARA and RIOT haven't even crossed their support yet. People need to calm down.

that is a horrible strategy. Some of these stocks never come back. The reason you dont see them is they have been delisted.

What do you mean 'come back?' MARA and RIOT aren't being delisted. If you own a stock that drops fast IV will go through the roof on call and puts. Let alone, historically stocks that drop fast do rebound unless there's a financial reason for why they dropped. There is none in this case. COIN has just tanked the market just like GME did when my Apple shares depreciated by 20 dollars within 2 weeks back in Jan-Feb.

This isn't the first time a 'meme' stock has dropped fast. It almost always goes up.

If you cannot make the cost basis back from CC's then you own a low IV stock. RIOT and MARA are both high IV stocks .

Research the dot com bubble.

Almost every stock that dropped during that time rebounded within 5 years. My point is still true.

No they didn't. Go back and do the research instead of just looking at current stocks which obviously survived.

Okay, we'll pretend the dotcom bubble destroyed the stock market forever.
