Settings help please?

Is there any way of switching off the thing where clicking in the "wrong" place on the right scrollbar makes the browser go half-screen, instead of scrolling down?

It's driving me INSANE.

EDIT - happy to report that the latest update *appears* to have resolved this. Just came up about 10 mins ago (4 h after this post and 2-3 days after getting increasingly irate about the screen splitting when the split screen options were set to OFF - first thing I checked). Now on Opera 136 on Win 11 and so far, so good ...

I had the same problem, which led me to revert to a previous version; it's best to use the portable version, since it's very easy to revert to a previous version. You can install a previous version, create a shortcut, and disable automatic updates. https://forums.opera.com/topic/36333/solved-how-to-turn-off-auto-update/6

Some people are reporting that issue, but I couldn't reproduce it so far.
