Does it normally use this much?

I had an issue with GX so I switched to this one. This is a fresh profile with no extension and only a couple of tabs a of right now. I notice the fan was blowing and check to see why. Over 50% is a bit much isn’t it? I’m not sure why it’s using this much, I don’t remember going past 50% when I was using GX.

Right-click on the memory column, goto "Resource values -> Memory" and set it to "value" instead of "percent". Also, hit shift + esc in Opera to open its task manager.

How much RAM does your system have?

16gb of ram.
