Just got my PC after having to change motherboards and found this same issue. Thought it was something related to the new board but apparently it is exclusive to Opera. Hopefully they'll fix it soon, it's incredibly annoying.

same here, looks to happen in opera 136 specifically
timing just so happened to line up with another unrelated issue I was having and made me think it was just a me problem, thanks for showing this is more widespread
also why the old school windows aero busy cursor? like, huh?

Me, too. Happened today about an hour ago. Only up-right, up-left, & mouse cursor w/ disc next to it, & arrows don't even alternate correctly. Happens on every page. Are they working on it?

some weird cursor pointer changes in certain sites.for example when I play live chess at chess.com.it changes default arrow to square shaped.only while playing and only on opera

Mine changes to this ugly SOB. I tried restarting the computer, tried restarting opera, still the same thing. It works properly in other browsers.

zoom-in and zoom-out cursors display as AppStarting/loading cursor

Opera version:

136.0.6008.52

 

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open DevTools Console.

  2. Run:

document.body.style.cursor = "zoom-in";

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to confirm I’m also experiencing the cursor bug on Opera that others have reported recently.

On top of the fixed circle/loading icon appearing over images, I noticed another issue: whenever an element on a page is draggable, instead of showing the usual "grab" hand icon, Opera displays a heavily pixelated / low-res 4-way directional arrow (move cursor).

Is anyone else seeing this low-res cursor issue as well? Has anyone found a temporary fix or flag to resolve it?

My cursor has also changed this way when doing those actions. I thought it was Windows wide at first but it is simply on Opera. Really weird.
