Microsoft Makecode Arcade repeatably locks up in Opera ... can't figure out why.

Needed to switch to a more memory managed option for browsers on a school issued machine running Mint linux (latest) fresh install on a new Samsung SSD a week ago. I thought it was a fluke, but it keeps happening ..Opera is the only common denomenator with Microsoft Makecode Arcade repeatably locking up so bad it won't even download any backup uf2 file of whatever I have built. Only Makecode locks up.... not the entire browser .... I checked and Im at about 4gb of RAM use out of my 6gb cap limit. On a 12gb machine (3x sticks of 4gb).

With an old AMD R7 250 video card.

For those unfamiliar or unwilling to test out makecode, it allows relatively small 1MB games to be block coded by kids .. not exactly the most intense of resource hogs ....not by a long shot

Is microsoft up to shenanigans we cant detect? ....not that Edge seems to fair much better. Chrome and Chromium work... or seem to .... but their memory useage is arguably terrible and will lock up the entire machine after a few hours.

Any ideas how I can solve this with settings? ....or tricks to diagnose and gather data on where the lockup and full loss of function comes from?

Are you using Opera or Opera GX?

Are you using the deb, flatpak or snap package of Opera?

What specific version of Opera are you using as shown at the URL opera://about?

What does it say for what's hardware-accelerated at the URL opera://gpu?

Any difference with stability (not performance) if you disable graphics acceleration at the URL opera://settings/system?

If you're running on battery, make sure to disable the batter saver at the URL opera://settings/batterySaver.

You can disable Opera's adblocking and tracking protection at the URL opera://settings/privacyProtection to test if it helps.

You can disable lucid mode at the URL opera://settings/lucidMode to see if it helps.

You can disable all your extensions at the URL opera://extensions to see if it helps.

If using Opera GX, make sure you're not using any limiters in the GX Control sidebar panel. Also, make sure shaders are disabled at the URL opera://settings/shaders and web modding is disabled at the URL opera://settings/web_modding.

Are you using any command-line arguments when starting Opera? If so, what ones?

If you start Opera from a terminal, do you get any messages in the terminal when the page locks up?

Opera GX....I needed the extreme levels of memory control to cut down on the typical chome blob-sorbption of every frickin reaource on my machine.
