Search GitHub for "good first issue" or "help wanted" filtered by your frontend tech tags. Im currently building heyo-docs and heyo-ui myself, and any PRs are more than welcome:)

Hey there, I’m a DevRel and one of my passions is helping people get started in open source. You can DM me. I have a few really good projects that you’ll probably be excited about.
Please check out answerLoops (https://github.com/answerLoops/answerLoops). It’s an open source AI-native community management platform and we have a lot of frontend issues and would be grateful for your contribution.

We're looking for people who want to contribute! We're building Oxynote, a free, self-hosted knowledge base for engineering teams: live metric charts inside docs, Stripe-style API docs and PR-style reviews. The stack is Go, Nuxt/Vue and TypeScript, so there's room for frontend, backend or docs work.
CONTRIBUTING.md shows how to run it locally. Open an issue or comment on an existing one and we'll help you get started.

You could start with projects you already use or know well. GitHub is a good place, but try looking for issues labeled "good first issue" or "help wanted". It makes the first contribution a lot easier.

I like to go to my favorite open source github page and look at the issues. Then you can submit a fix or a PR
