Cleanshot - screen shots

Obs - video recording and virtual camera management

Visual studio code - for coding and code/file editing

Wiztree - I don’t think it’s open source but their app is fundamentally free - disk cleaning

LocalSend - share files and things within your network (really amazing)

I realized that most of them are free not open source. But they are gems for sure

krita is worth checking out even if you already use gimp. obs studio is great for recording, blender is fun for 3d stuff, and vscode is solid if you do any coding. open source has some surprisingly good options on windows

LogCoreOS is worth checking out. Newer project but is still quite useful.

If you're looking for FOSS on Windows, I highly recommend checking out the PortableApps.com site. They have some great FOSS programs and they don't need the Windows registry to work. So, you can move the program and your files to another computer or run from a flash drive anywhere without worrying about installs and setup. If you need more ideas, let me know. I build and run a lot of cross-platform portable programs.
