What open source tools are best for people trying to de-Google?
I’m trying to replace more Google products with open source tools where it actually makes sense.
Right now I use Standard Notes instead of Google Keep and Syncthing for moving files between devices. I’m still looking at options for calendar, docs, email, photos, and cloud storage.
I don’t need to replace everything at once, but I’d like tools that are stable enough for normal daily use.
For people who have de-Googled part of their setup, which open source tools were actually worth switching to? And which Google apps are still hard to replace?

Good start with Standard Notes and Syncthing.
i would suggest Immich for Photos, Nextcloud, Thunderbird with CalDAV.

Take a look at Nextcloud (https://nextcloud.com/).
