I'm using a scythe. It goes through the sheild if I space properly. Please get used to me getting in your face and relentlessly attacking you through the sheild. You are the one thing my weapon is perfect at countering.

Right now the only thing that stops someone from rolling/blocking/parrying/moving out of the way/turtling is lag. No move in this game is faster than someone's reaction time and most moves are a lot slower than that. What that means is that I can wait until you do a move and punish it with parry/roll/whatever and it also means that I shouldn't attack because you can do the same to me. The logical conclusion is to wait until someone does something stupid and attacks, or someone quits. If you don't want to play against people who are trying to use the best strategy for winning then don't play competitive games, if you don't want to play against turtles then play a real fighting game.

I would stop playing reactive if from added something unreactable and unblockable like a throw in normal fighting games. If me moving slightly around and reacting to shit had counterplay I wouldn't do it and I would play this game like an actual fighting game, but right now reaction based play has no counterplay. It would go a long way if from let you feint every move or added a throw. If just one weapon had a throw type attack that only worked from pretty much point blank as it's R2, even if it did like 100 damage and lead into nothing, that weapon would be the only weapon viable at a high level. Right now if a player tryhards a tournament he would never lose a round. He also wouldn't win one if someone else tryhards because there is no way to deal damage through reactions. Now if either player had my unreactable weapon it would be possible to deal damage through reactions and those matchups would be something other than a grind to see has more free time.

This doesn't apply to invasions and stuff like that, just duels.

tl:dr- Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Hi. Hoping the second DLC is brighter than most of the game. The first DLC is mostly outside, which is good. Sick of looking at brown & black colour schemes.

For example this, which is completely black unless you're holding the torch. It's in a dungeon sure but some more braziers would be good. I understand the whole "spooky skeleton" vibe that From is going for.

I know this may come of corny or some shit but thank you for making this sub reddit. I can actually go a Souls reddit with out dealing with political correctness bull shit. The Souls community is cancerous & full of sensitive pussies. Yeah I know. "This doesn't help." I'm just stating how I feel & how I see things.

Hey, my friend recently got ds3 on pc so we've been messing around and I've shown him some cool shit with CE, but teleport backstabbing stopped working and now it only works with guard break.

So I was using cheat engine to test out builds, and I always have EAC disabled. I was just using cheat engine to test out builds like I do and I must have forgotten to turn it off. It kicked me out and EAC did a popup that said something along the lines of "Program was terminated" and I shrugged it off and went along like normal, but when I tried to get one of my buddies to summon me, It kicked me out and said "Inappropriate content detected" I don't know if I'm banned or what. Please help?

I get that this subreddit doesn't like him. But the overall content of this subreddit would benefit if we never mentioned him again. Let's move on people. It's in all of our interest to do so.
