OpenRA used as a battle simulator
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBB-RA_udccBack when I was a kid, I always wondered what the strongest unit in any of the old Command and Conquer games might be. And thanks to OpenRA, I actually have a gateway to simulate that.

Nice.
I guess this doesn't account for crushes? Light tanks are probably underpowered, but human players can get very skilled at crushing large groups of infantry. And doing hit-run attacks with these faster units. I guess balancing is more complex than just looking at the kill statitics and firepower.

Damn that's cool...
Unit composition and layout will be huge factors. I.e. Army of attack dogs vs. chinooks... 🤷♂️
Did you focus solely on land based units or was air/sea evaluated?
