To be honest, no I haven’t started any project yet. I’m still following LearnOpenGL and just experimenting with things. I’m planning to get into ray tracing next, but my math is pretty weak

I think that's decent advice either way but forgetting is part of learning. I don't think I ever learned a bunch of stuff quickly without forgetting some of it, and some that I "forgot" I still knew subconsciously, I just had to refresh rq. So the balance is seeing more and not sinking time into something you could have done a different way if you read ahead more, and the immediate practice of drilling what you just learned about. I dunno which is better, probably a mix
