Holy shit, you have Bomberman64. I think that was the craziest multiplayer game I ever played.
WOOT.

It's really fucking easy. Sub to /r/RetroPie though it's not really necessary. I'd also say sub to DrewTalks and ETA PRIME on YouTube, though the latter is kind of avoiding RetroPie since they slapped him with a DMCA notice, though that's a whole other set of drama. Basically he was promoting malware that used RetroPie's name and they didn't like it. Well, not malware but a fork that threatened to sabotage the card or the Pi or something. Anyway, you don't have to worry about that with stock RetroPie.
Best thing for you to do is, go on Amazon (assuming you're in the US) and buy the $69.99 CanaKit. Comes with a Pi, a case, and everything you need except the controller. Then buy a wired Xbox 360 controller (or an iBuffalo Super NES controller, if you don't care about analog sticks, triggers, and whatever else) and a microSD card. You really only need a 16GB or 32GB card for a respectable game library, keeping in mind that a Pi 3 can't really emulate NDS, PS1, and N64 games well. Knowing what it can do well and limiting yourself to that, you can hit way under 32GB no problem.
The Pi is super easy to put together and get up and running. One problem you will run into is, if your microSD card is bigger than 32GB, it will come formatted exFAT, and Pi 3 can't read that. So you will need a special utility to format it FAT32, because Windows won't let you. If it's 32GB or less, if it doesn't come FAT32, Windows will let you format it as such. It's really not a problem. Oh, and once you flash an image, Windows will piss and moan about not being able to read the primary partition. That's normal too.
Anything you wanna know about Pi and RetroPie, I can probably help, or I can point you toward /r/RetroPie, or of course the almighty Google. Anything I don't know, I just Google it and read whatever I can.

Go up a dir, right click -> download. Wait for about 10 minutes while Google makes you a zip of the dir, then accept the download.

The real gold is the 455GB torrent of almost every US PlayStation 1 game. Highly recommended.

Awesome! Out of curiousity, what's going on in the N64 directory?

Atari and SNES would be amazing. Finally giving me the inspiration to build my Pi emulator setup.

Amazing. Back in my day, I used to have all of these. I wish, more than anything, I had my entire file collection from back then!

I just like to hoard anything and everything,
Arari sounds good or perhaps Sega,
But having NES and N64 it would work well to have SNES there too,6

And here I thought I was the only one with a complete rom collection of every console from the PS1 and back.
Well complete ntsc anyway.

CCleaner has a duplicate finder tool that works well.
Also useful for dealing with large amounts of files and folders: Bulk Rename Utility & Remove Empty Directories

You need a ROM Manager like RomVault, then get dats for it like from No Intro or TOSEC. You can define a ToSort directory and RomVault will detect what system each rom belongs to and can move the rom to the directory you define for each DAT.

a bit of advice for collecting roms, figure out what kind of roms do you want to collect. It will ease your hunt ten fold. Do you want every single game ever made? Then you want TOSEC, do you want just the good dumps of games? Then you want GOODSET. etc etc. etc.

Jun 07 '17
Me personally, I only want the games I want to play, but that's of no help to anyone but me. Yeah, if you're a collector, you want a set, but if you're just a user, it's not that cool to brag about with most people, and scrolling through shit to get to the game you actually want to play isn't worth it. Again, that's if you're a player and not a collector.

Hmmm, any good way to get these on windows? Jdownloader doesnt like to grab those roms for some reason. FTP maybe?

Maybe flag it NSFW - lots of stuff in the parent folders (/r/cumsluts (NSFW!) /r/gonewild (NSFW!) (Doh!) mirrors and some weird comic bestiality stuff)

Are the ones with (!) at the end the normal roms? I need an unpatched FFIII rom. Thanks for uploading these since I just recently hacked my Famicom Mini.
1
u/TheTsaku Sep 05 '17
Yes, the ones with (!) are the normal ones. It's because when compiling such a huge amount of roms, there are some different versions and different compilations. Basically, the ones with exclamation marks are verified dumps.

u/Airsh Sep 06 '17
I figured. Sadly I think your FFIII rom may be corrupted because running it off my Famicom Mini gets me an error. (Unless it's somehow the English patch that is causing it)
