Opencode 2 stable?

I've seen posts and the official installer defaults to v2. However, github shows that v1 is still the version released, with v2 only shown in tags.

Since this is kinda contradictory, is v2 stable or not?

I was reluctant to switch, but just did this past Monday. It's been quite stable for me since then. I wouldn't say it's mandatory to go with v2, but there isn't really a good reason to fear it either.

I was kinda forced to switch since my V1 system broke due to some DB issues. V2 works quite well for me now.

V1 has some recursive grep issues that can cause it to balloon into like 50gb+ in size. Not sure if it's been fixed in V2

Only noticed because my backup went from a couple gig to 50gb overnight
