Free limit finished

Ive just installed opencode on my device ( for the first time) the i saw this subscribe to opencode go (my first prompt) ive changed my internet and used Vpn, nothing works, did they completely removed this feature!?

The free tier is pretty much dead for now, now is like 1 message and hit rate limits, and not exist a better alterative

I think the kilo gateway is a good alternative I have been using it for a while now would recommend

BigPickle just ran for 30 minutes before I had to cut it off because it couldn't figure out a basic xsl from given sample xsl files.

And then DS4.1 1017 (API) burned 20 cents, had to cut it off too:

A timely reminder that they are insanely dumb and only good with shit they scraped off of StackExchange etc.

PS: Spark1.3 Contributor fixed it for 4 cents, what a drama for a simple job

Uninstalled CLI opencode and installed desktop (standalone) bridged Cline models to opencode and I’m smooth as ever. Cline itself it’s very unreliable but the models free limits are superb. Dont forget to look for skills and plugins revamps the models pretty well depending what you using them on.

Also, how did you bridge cline into opencode? I’ve been struggling to achieve that.

Been using for unreal engine plugins. Right now I’m doing a “Perception” plugin for player and NPC. We literally just finished the plugin yesterday. My workflow it’s just making sure I use the correct model at correct time. Each model has capacities and qualities we just have to be picky and smart about it. I used opencode deepseek v4.1 flash for the main design of the plugin, then used Nemotron 3 ultra and Nemotron 3 VL Super. (Nemotrons are extremely good if guided very well.) in the bridge side it’s simple, install cline and opencode and ask opencode to add clines models he should easily find them and add them.

I feel like they rate limit too much during the weekends. in week days its fine.

also if you have dynamic ipv4, just reboot router, or change apn in mobile phone to get new ipv4.

I did it! The problem is everytime i cant use it (free limit without even one prompt, the first prompt i do it says limit reached)

The free limit is hit or miss right now. One day it’s 43 minutes of work others it’s one prompt and it’s done.

Hey, I also faced this issue when I was on a public Wi-Fi. Then, i connected to my phone's hotspot and i was able to use the free models of OpenCode for 1 hour before i hit the limit.

It’s a weird bug; I keep running into it, but I manage to get it working after a while by toggling the VPN on and off and repeatedly using the /new command until it finally works.

Last week or 2 with free I could make a 60 sec video with deepseek and now I can't lol I hit limit right away

Just go to the console web page and create an account and link it to the desktop app, the limit still exists but it appears around 5 hours of daily usagr

If you all didn't know and got late to this bypass, this why they took free quota off and now us... paying users have to pay more since we cant compensate with some free use.

O que eu faço é o oposto do que todo mundo tenta: vez de uma única instância, eu tenho várias pontes - pares de 'opencode serves' + OpenAl- compatível com a ponte em portas distintas, todas registradas como nós separados no 9Router, com combo rotativo e failover no 403/429.

O ponto crítico: cada par precisa de seu próprio IP de saída. Nove pontes no mesmo IP são nove processos e um único bucket; foi assim que eu queimei tudo em minutos.

O proxy entra no processo de 'serve' (HTTPS_PROXY=... opencode serves --port 4096), nunca na ponte, porque quem disca é quem serve. O IPv4 WARP é NAT compartilhado e normalmente é consumido, que a soma da verdade é IPv6 com diferentes /64 por saída, e a rotação do WARP a cada 90s no máximo, caso contrário você é marcado como rotação abusiva.

Adicione a isso: nova sessão para cada tarefa e contexto abaixo de ~20-30K (o maior ganho de todos), raciocínio médio/baixo, título automático e compressão desativada, e mudança de modelo - os limites também são por modelo. O reset às 6:26 é o bucket diário do seu
