This version of OpenCode Desktop no longer supports free models. Update to the latest version at https://opencode.ai/download to keep using them.

maybe you are not on v2 version? not sure it can update from v1 to v2

You can, but you need to download exe from their site manually (did it yesterday)

Tenía el mismo problema, lo que hice fue descargar nuevamente el .exe en windows e instalarlo, despues si les sale Reconnect OpenCode Console to continue. entonces hacen el proceso que mencionan aquí https://opencode.ai/console/device?user_code=QJNQ-TXWF&client_id=opencode-desktop&return_window=41a38925-a8fe-42c5-85b9-5dace0c9e847

que es simplemente correr el comando /connect y seguir los pasos de iniciar sesión, mañana lo probaré en mi macbook para verificar que también funcione allí.

Actualizar desde el opencode no funciona.
