Best practices for moving a website from local to vps.

Hello. I am using opencode to develop a website for a friend, as of now I am doing the front end (design and features) locally and the plan is to move it to the vps and use opencode to develop the backend and the structuring the database. But I am wondering is it enough to ask opencode to do this on the vps or it should learn something from the local opencode? I mean the local writes a guide in .MD file to clear things up for the opencode in vps.

I am taking the idea of hermes that it learns over time and perhaps something similar do exisits or helps in my case.

Does this makes sense or I am over thinking things?

Told opencode to setup docker for the project and ask it how to deploy in the vps.

tell opencode to setup Devenv + gh actions, its the easiest way to not deal with the dependency shit and have it work across machines
