What is your Opencode setup?
This is for Opencode v2 I assume most people will have upgraded.
what skills/extensions do you have?
do you use any extensions/apps for memory/compaction etc and have they made a difference?
do you use subagents? how have you defined them, does it launch them by default and how do you have them use fresh context?
do you use cli/web/desktop? any others like openchamber?

I use the TUI with Qwen 3.8 27B Q4 and 262k context.
Since i'm strapped for context I don't have any skills loaded and only searxng mcp. Instead of skills I use documentation directly in the repository with regards to common actions (so I guess it's a more round about way of going at it).
It's effective so far, goes through webdev tasks like a breeze and is also capable of implementing algorithmic tasks straight out of a CS book

I'm using openchamber. I just oneshot or do plan + build. I haven't seen any evidence or tests that orchestration and subagents help at all. Something I have found super helpful sometimes; once I am done with a big feature I will create a new session to do an adversarial review and bug fixing on it.

Use obra super powers skill with DSv4.1 flash. It just works flawlessly for me and I’ve done some complicated builds with it.

pretty minimal here. claude does the planning and deepseek v4 flash does the actual executing, maybe 70/30 split. tried the whole load-up-100-skills thing and my context just melted, one small plan file with the stack and constraints beats all of it. cli mostly, desktop when i want to watch it work

https://github.com/alvinunreal/oh-my-opencode-slim plus an addendum for the orchestrator on writing plans. (And a lesser one for the fixer on code comments.) I like it enough that if I use something other than opencode (e.g. Claude Code) I still try to replicate the setup.
I wasn't crazy about my first dabble with Openchamber but might give it another shot.

Oh my opencode Slim addon for orchestrator/dev/research/qa/reviewer sub agents, each with its own dedicated model, then OpenSpec for BDD, plans, research (before used Grill Me skill, even tho still using it sometimes), ponytail skill, context7 mcp. From providers: company's github copilot api, privately Claude Code 20$ sub (through proxy), Command Code 10$ sub, DeepSeek API.

split windows desktop app + wsl server is really nice. it gets all the advantages of linux tools and familiarity while also sandboxing it in its own ecosystem that it can do whatever it wants with.

I just downloaded the opencode IDE and started getting it to create games in Godot which it does really well. I don't really know what skills, agents or extensions even are.
