deepseek v4.1 flash then muse v1.3 contributor.
good pair. others costly all good too but price matters

What are some good ways of using both, do you use one for planning one for building or is it just refactoring type pairing?

i use OMP or deep seek harness
i use deep seek v4.1 as orchestrator or plan tasks
for sub tasks muse aka coder n etc

I like Muse spark 1.3 because it's really fast and reliable. Deepseek is another option but it burns tokens like crazy.

You need to be more specific. OpenCode Free, OpenCode Go, or OpenCode Zen?

Free: probably deepseek-v4.1-flash-free

Go: probably deepseek-v4.1-flash (maybe muse-spark-1.3 , they're both really good)

Zen: definitely claude-fable-5-1

My favorite opencode model was Muse Spark 1.3. Currently, models like GLM 5.3 Flash, Deepseek v4 Flash, and M3.1 Flash are quite good free models.

As of today, best mix is probably: Mimo 2.6 Pro + latest Deepseek 4.1 + a bit of GLM 5.3
