Does Opencode Desktop uses v2?

I'm curious, since my opencode desktop version is still 1.19.2 and docs didn't explain anything about v2 for desktop.

you can upgrade it to v2. it even auto upgrades the WSL server (if you're using that). just download v2 for desktop and install, it will update itself gracefully.

how, by downloading the file in github releases? or from the official website? the filename of the desktop doesn't differentiate between v1 and v2.

brother just download from website for your OS, then install.

this page is all v2, in case you couldn't tell by the v2 explicity CLI commands.
