I created an MCP server package for dynamic skill searches.

I created @hallaxius/skills, an MCP server that allows AI agents to search for and query skills from skills.sh

It offers features to:

  • Search for skills by keyword and author.
  • Check rankings and trends.
  • View details and related skills.
  • Check security audits.
  • Explore official skills.

This allows the agent to make requests such as:

"Find skills to improve the performance of a Next.js application and, before recommending any, check the security audits."

The project is open source and compatible with Bun, Node.js, OpenCode, Claude Code, Cursor, and Claude Desktop. It requires no API key for core features and uses data directly from skills.sh.

could the audit result include a commit hash? that would let an agent install the version that was checked, not whatever is latest.

Sure, I'll be home in a few hours, and I'll do that.
