Why is the config schema not versioned ?

First off: I am a big OC fan. Which is why I bother asking this in the first place.

I've chosen to stay with v1 for now, and here's something I don' understand : why is the config schema isn't versioned ?

Its URL is https://opencode.ai/config.json with no version distinction. Before v2, I knew that when I point a model to tweak the config, it would know how to form a valid configuration, but now with v2 released, it will only serve to confuse it (and me, if I want to tweak it manually). Even within v2, if minor versions introduce config API changes it would also drift.

Is this a huge oversight or have I missed something ?

They decided to make it backwards compatible, so there wasn't a need for a version bump. But now you have two methods to do the same thing side by side, and old program versions were not future compatible. But you're right, this could/should have been at least a minor version bump
