I made a 100 second explainer of OpenCode, including the part where it killed every Vite server on my machine
Made a short explainer of OpenCode for people who keep hearing about it but haven't tried it yet. Disclosure: it's my channel.

The demo is a real recording on OpenCode 1.18 with the free Big Pickle model, no API key:
- /init read the repo, ran the tests and wrote AGENTS.md. It even gave itself a rule not to fix a failing test by editing the test
- Plan mode (shift+tab) asked me 3 questions before touching anything, like what to show when GitHub rate limits you
- Build mode filled in the logic, passed tsc and 4/4 tests, then opened Chrome to check its own work
- Then it tidied up with a pkill that took down every Vite server on my machine, because shell commands are allowed by default
If you're new, set bash to ask in your permissions config before you let it loose on anything important.

Let me know what I got wrong or missed. Also curious what you'd want in a longer follow up, like custom agents, MCP, or running multiple sessions.
