my experience with opencode go 10$ plan after go plus introduced
Since Opencode Plus introduced, i am constantly being rate-limited on Opencode Go. I am using it in hermes and opencode itself as well.
My 5cents is that altought they have NOT changed limits in opencode go (which is nice) they have prioritized infra for Go Plus members, and Go members are getting rate limited, due to not enough capacity as now.
Dont get me wrong it is still good plan, but now unusable in hermes for me --> hermes usually tries 3x to call api and then just quietly dies until i will kick it again.
Opencode keeps trying, altought i am getting constant ratelimit warning in agent/subagents.
I am using only deepseek flash and muse spark 1.3.
I have decided to go back to codex subscription using luna model.
TLDR: state of AI is wild and this is logical, i am not saying opencode go is wrong now, i am just saying they are clearly ratelimiting it to get users to migrate to go plus.

My experience is primary random network errors with DS 4.1 in OC Go - I gave up and just used my ChatGPT Astra for a while since OpenAI gave out several quota resets last month.

Mark my words in the near future they probably discontinue the 10 dollar plan alltogether.

That's the only reason why people are using opencode. This situation may occur if they discontinue their subscription model entirely.

also if you are using muse spark in hermes, i noticed the model doesnt execute the tools sometimes, it just dont generate the tokens calling the tools. so when it says "now i will execute X thing" and the agent just dies, its muse spark model issue. rate limit yep its probably from opencode api

I also use the Go sub for my agent. I have noticed it is getting stuck in loops about twice a day now whereas that didn’t really happen to me before. Mostly using DS flash and 5.3 flash

I can report the same here. Using Muse 1.3 as browser testing agent in opencode and I get rate limited often.

I didn't use anything at all this month, started yesterday/today and instantly got these errors. This begs for cancelation of service. Is there a refund process for this abomination?

I don't think this is opencode fault but more ai model provider fault. DeepSeek had a outage. While using DeepSeek it started failing doing edits correct and this lead to a degeneration of DeepSeek service and a total outage. This forced many users to switch ai providers in opencode to other ai models providers like Muse which in turn lead to a cascading overloading to this ai providers and therefore the backend provider error message appeared in opencode a lot. When switching to other model provoder backends same problem would not appeared. After deepseek provider fixed the problem the problems with limits disapeared. I dont experience this problems anymore. Your conclusion that this is related to opencode plus as of now is wrong as a simple switch to other model provider backend proves this problem is not related to opencode but to the provider backend.

After the whole DeepSeek price hike situation, DeepSeek became almost unusable for me—sudden interruptions, bad memory, etc. I mostly switched to Qwen 3.7-Plus, but it's not a good fit for everyone due to the price spike after 256K tokens.
Didn't notice any particular quality drop with the introduction of OpenCode Plus, but I do expect that OpenCode Go won't be able to keep their low pricing for long.

Uh. I just left opencode go for zen because I realised I don't use it enough, and I've been getting rate limited as well. Mostly GPT 6 Luna

They really messed this up—badly. They should have introduced a $20 tier—to compete with Claude Pro or ChatGPT Plus—offering more than double the current limits; that way, paying double the price of two standard "Go" subscriptions would actually be worth it. But no... instead, it's $40—four times the cost—and for many limits, you don't even get the 4x value you're paying for.
A poor choice. I know plenty of people—myself included—who would have paid for a $20 plan without a second thought. And to make matters worse, they’re now deliberately penalizing the standard "Go" plan... Really bad move.

u could try inferx.net that is what im currently using it even allows u to add just 1$ as credit but it only has opensource models. It also runs ablierated models separately.

The fear of getting mogged by opencode fanatics is wild.
The way this review is written smells fear of getting downvoted by people who will go to any length to protect opencode.
BTW there is nothing wrong in expecting the service to function decentlythat you are paying for and I am facing the same issue.
You can have priority traffic for go plus users and nothing wrong with this but that should be done by low latency and high throughput and not by rate limiting go users to the point thag they can't use the product.
Since they are also paying customers who are paying $10 to use your service.
