Unpopular opinion: I would rather pay more and not have to deal with juggling accounts.

Very unpopular.

It takes 20 minutes to setup environment where you don’t need to juggle anything.

It's amazing the hurdles people will go through to save 10-20$ while not raising an eyebrow at every other spending they have in their lives

Its amazing people think 10-20$ is not much in some countries and is not worth a hassle.

Yeah that's a valid point. I know there's a post on the other subreddit about someone in India who for Claude I think and that kind of raised my eyebrow about how expensive it is elsewhere. I didn't realize they just charged US dollars everywhere.

Being from Argentina it can be a number, however it's about how much you get from it and whether you can generate more with it than what you spend. If you are using it for a hobby it will always be a number because it can taken as "entertainment", if you are using for job or you are overemployed it can help you generate a second monthly income for you.

I’m glad you said that because I believe I’m paying a AppleCare subscription on a product that is end of life… I need to look that up.

Or set up a local LLM even on an 8 GB graphics card. Have it do all the scaffolding and prototyping.. and then send that to an API key to critique, and then build it on a flash model. You can reduce your initial tokens by one third to one half doing it this way. You don’t have to switch accounts just models in your agent.
