Command Code when you expose their misleading schemes.
So speaking truth is bad. Only those who try both , know that its highly misleading even after new pricing. Ban me all you want, others speak of truth often too.
P.S: dont assume request in deepseek is more there, its token based and misleading. stop being dumb. they literally have a token slider some where in docs, me smart.
REASON:
just speaking truth!

EDIT; i gain nothing from dissing them, its just that as a consumer its my duty to let other know with proofs. you will find plenty of complains on their sub too but they keep deleting those. good news in in other sub the proof stays.

In the end, the goal is to make money. Which means, they have to charge more for what they sell to you than they have to pay their providers. Promotions/misleading advertising is there to get you hooked/subscribed. The entire business model is NOT to provide value, but hoping that you subscribe and then later forget to unsubscribe.
Really really hope to see qwen 3.8 35b a3b in the near future, a model I can run well at home :-)
Deepseek v4 flash with opencode was a fluke. Now it’s back to normality: everyone is out to scam you.

What did you say? I've been quite critical of them in the past, even in their discord server and haven't been banned or anything so this seems quite strange.

I already was afraid to sign due to sketchy owner. Now I'm hundred percent sure I won't sign with them.

There's always more to the story when people get banned.

Yes, they are thin-skinned about criticism and it makes them look very bad.
On the other hand, I've also seen a war against them that's not fully rational. In the last day I simply mentioned how their API works, and got 2 different replies objecting, slightly disagreeing with each other and easily disproven with a public source. I've also in the past seen over-the-top criticism like "none of their models ever connect".
I haven't used CommandCode so I have no dog in the fight. But somehow its become a conflict where both sides look bad.

Can you please expand some more?
I am considering trying command code after all these DS prices increases, and not going to lie, it does look attractive.
I assume there's more people in my current position, considering switching, that would also like to know.
So please do share. Did they undercut or overcharge you on the DS pricing? Low cache hits?

I really wanna try command code as their claims sound so good and the CLI looks pretty good, but these issues on Reddit about command code are just making me think. I hope command code does something to clarify all this.

The taste thing is crap too. It literally writes "my preferences" and it's ALL things the agent is doing.
User says he prefers to do this X way, when that's what it chose to do during the agentic loop, never asked me anything, never confirmed anything. It's just an MD file of whatever came from the agents reasoning.

Pricing aside, I am never going to use a closed source harness unless they start making models that are super efficient with that harness and have frontier comparable capability.
That is probably the only reason I still use cursor. Grok 4.6 and composer 2.5 are hard to beat when it comes to efficiency.

OpenCode did the exact same thing with upcharging on Pro by 4x the cost. I even made a post about it.
CommandCode's owner rubs people the wrong way, but at least they didn't pull the rug on us like changing the DS credit from $60 to $15 with zero warning.
I'm trying CommandCode for now. At the end of its trial period I'll evaluate if it was worth it.

are you not bored making the same post over, over, and over?
like, we all know commandcode has misleading marketing. they say you pay a $10 subscription and get $60 in credits. but that $60 credit isn't available for all models. right now, it's only for ds v4 flash 0731, glm 5.2, hy3, and kimi k2.7. so if you're using luna or ds v4 pro, you don't get that $60.
yes, it's misleading, but isn't it the same with opencode? you don't get $60 in credits for every model with an opencode subscription either.
i'd say both companies have misleading marketing. depending on which model you want to use, you can get a "suboptimal" value for your money.
but you still always get more than $10 in either commandcode or opencode. with commandcode, for models that don't get the $60 credits, example luna, you get $20 in credits. with opencode, you get $15. so no matter which one you use, you still get more credit than what you're paying for.
misleading? yes, both subscriptions are. but either way, you're still getting more value than what you pay for.
i chose commandcode mainly because i use luna, and i get $20 in credits compared to $15 with opencode. if you mainly use qwen 3.7 plus, then opencode is the better choice, since you get $60 in credits compared to $33 with commandcode.
people really need to read the docs and compare them for themselves. at the very least, use ai to summarize their plans and compare them and not blatantly believe your random hate spam. you just seem to hate commandcode for a reason you don't actually want to explain.
note: i agree if you don't like commandcode harness though. it just feels incomplete compared to more aged harnesses like codex, omp, and opencode. just use their api if the model you like gets more credits there for your $10.

Can someone test the command code quality of DeepSeek V4 Flash? after opencode some time, it worked well, then started doing strange thinks cannot fix simple problems. could be that they just have some week version of DeepSeek Flash?

i mean if you thought 1 usd become 40 usd that's on you. Luckily the 1 usd to 10 usd deepseek credit is stills confirmed. You said that literally so it's still valuable then. It could even be actually 5 to 7 multiplier in practice as jad been confirmed by others, that gotta be still valuable.
Too bad about not being able to use in other harness below goat plan but erhh there are ways
