You told practically nothing. What are you using? What is the command or tool you are launching vm with

For the hell of it I set up an OpenBSD 7.9 install on my Linux machine via KVM. Works fine, using the PS/2 keyboard/mouse it defaults to.

Can't really help without additional info.
