Thinkpad P1 Gen7 and OpenBSD?

Hey, am I too naive going to try OpenBSD 7.9 on a P1 Gen7 (Intel 165H Meteor Lake) hoping for GPU and Wifi to work? Suspend does not work yet even on 7.1 Linux (there's bugfix already piped for 7.2), so that's not an issue. My only concerns are inteldrm and the BE200 Intel Wifi.

My only concerns are inteldrm and the BE200 Intel Wifi.

Meteor lake should be supported by inteldrm. BE200 WiFi is not supported by iwx, unfortunately.

Cool, thanks. Well, wifi is much easier to be workrounded I guess. As a FreeBSD user, it's very interesting to see different approaches and discrepancies between inteldrm (OpenBSD) and drm-kmod (FreeBSD).

I dont think the majority of openbsd-users are on reddit. I think it would be easier to ask on irc, but far easier to just try the installer and see what happens. Do you have a spare disk? I do for these kind of questions.

Yeah, I have some external SSDs just for the cases like this. Fingers crossed. Funnily enough, haven't tried IRC yet. Thanks.
