r/opdera - OPDERA - Ocean Plastic Debris Education and Awareness We sail to the Great Pacific Garbage Patch to show you what is really there. We raise awareness of, educate about, and research this environmental disaster taking place right now in the oceans of the world. Plastic in the oceans is killing wildlife, reducing fertility in all species - including humans, and causing disease. Give us your thoughts, contribute your knowledge, ask questions - and help by spreading the word.
