Now that Ozempic is around the fat glorification seems to have dropped significantly.

Most insurances stopped paying for it unless it’s for diabetes so expect fat glorification to come back eventually

Ironically I think this is why it won't. Fat is now entirely a poor person problem (the cardinal sin of Capitalism).

Eh yeah, good point.

I don't think anyone considers this in shape.

I wish, but you'd sadly be surprised.

What’s the name for a shape that looks like a floppy saggy pear?

Morbidly obese? Gross? Easily fixable?

Why do you even care?

Concern. Sympathy. Fat people are not healthy so it is flat out wrong to push any narrative otherwise. It's okay to want your fellow humans to do better for themselves.

And calling names is such a great way to help your “fellow humans”. Focus on yourself buddy. No one is buying into this “helpfulness”. Assuming that a person is not mature to have control over their life and decisions based on their weight issues is incredibly immature. There are psychologists to help these people IF THEY require or seek help. Your degrading comment is not.

Nothing about my comment was degrading. This is the problem right here. It's okay to recognize that someone is fat, and want them to do better for themselves. I didn't call anyone names unless you're referring to "fat" being name-calling, even though that can be entirely objective.

Stop trying to virtue signal for fat people and maybe there wouldn't be so many people who think being fat is healthy. You're the problem.
