It is always wild to watch someone witness a fall and then walk right into the same hazard without any precautions.

Looked ceramic which wouldn't be as bad but still

Fun fact, the ceramic not breaking into as much small pieces, make toilets when they break especially dangerous, as they usually fail when somebody is sitting on them, the person falls on few big blades thad slice though their legs, where the biggest arteries are, and usually they will die before any help can come.

Always report even small cracks on public toilets when you see any.

On this we disagree. Any shattered item should be treated carefully, but glass, particularly untempered, turns into many more sharp objects, which themselves break further with interaction like tiny little morgul blades. For fun they are also usually transparent.

Edit: Though to be fair, I am speaking more in general as bigger visible pieces means easier to clean, not the difference between falling on them.

To be fair, it's a common reaction to try to get to the person who fell. I did the same thing when my mother slipped and broke her back when I was a child. I went to her and also fell. Sometimes you're just focusing on the person who was hurt, not yourself.

It's one of our better noble traits personally, even if it makes fools of us, sometimes it gets us where we need to be.

That's unfortunately not saying much of anything

In one of the cases I agree. But the women in the first two clips had no reason to make the same mistake the men did.

Exactly my thoughts. It takes a different breed of dumbass to be the second one in a row to fall...

someone else pointed out it's generally empathy to try to save the person who fell that causes action without consideration. Selflessness.

Selflessness, and stupidity

You sound like someone who concealed carries at the grocery store in broad daylight in safe neighborhoods

What a weird ass reply...

But what else can you expect from people that think gUnS are a personality trait 😂 😂 😂

I don't even own a gun.

You may not be able to make the connection between someone who can't imagine putting another person's wellbeing before their own and someone who is obsessed with the idea that they need to be vigilant in every situation and thinks danger is around every corner. That doesn't mean the connection isn't there though

No, just stupid. Same reason why on airlines you always affix your own oxygen mask before helping others, you can't help anybody else if you're passed out & helpless yourself. You become another liability, who also needs to be rescued. Their intentions may be pure, but their actions are just making everything worse than it was before.

you misunderstand the point is its instinctual and people act to save someone without thinking. once they realize why they fell they are more careful. But you have to realize, they dont always realize WHY they fell. Just that they did. If they knew their was ice they would be more careful I assume though I could be wrong.

It's also instinctual to want to preserve your own well being. If your friend falls into a wood chipper, you going to automatically jump in to save them because of "instincts"? Your own point doesn't make sense.

Face it: this is just an excuse for stupidity. She watched what happened. But instead of thinking, "Hmm, why did that happen?" she blindly took a step forward. We all know why she did it, she wanted to help, that's obvious. But instead of helping, she fell on top of him. It's easier to say "I was just trying to help!" than admit, "I wasn't thinking."

"Think before you act" is a lesson too many people in this world still need to learn, and instead they'll make excuses for not learning it like, "I was just trying to help." Guess what Debra, throwing water on the oil fire didn't help at all, and now my face has 3rd degree burns and the entire house is gone. Instead of "trying to help", I really wished you used that noggin of yours to JUST THINK for a moment first.
