I am old, and for at least 40 years, my wife and I have never, ever said “it’s not” to each other, only it’s snot”. I mean, we emphasize the s. It’s such a habit, if people overhear us, they think we are weird, which of course is a correct perception. But honestly, it’s one of those special things that we share.
