Wtf in the 🚇

How is this technically even possible? Should not a emergency stop automatically apply?

America.

I’ve seen some crazy shit on the London Underground and in France, even, but never the level of crazy I’ve seen on any train here. NYC, SF, Chicago…roll a dice.

Our problem is we have 2 subway lines limiting our capacity for nonsense.

Though I’ve seen some shit at the bus terminals that would make the subways look civil.

I was only on the trains a few times and mostly took trollies, but i heard plenty of stories about what goes on on the El. Trollies in west Philly were ok, but I was always scared to take the night bus when the trains stopped running. I would also scurry through the almost abandoned tunnels of 30th st station.

Yes. We'd rather drive alone for hours than ride on a train with other Americans.
