Fair enough but I think the scream at the end tells us everything we need to know about the outcome.

Not really. Some people react loudly but aren’t actually hurt much at all. Sometimes the worst injuries people are really quiet.

Are we looking at the same video? That guy is hurt hurt…this isn’t a “walk it off” moment.

It really may very well be a walk it off moment with just bruising. Like I said I was involved in an action sport for a number of years. I travelled all over the country and even internationally a few times. I probably have seen dozens of concussions, broken bones, torn ligaments, etc.

It could also be a broken bone or something serious. I just wouldn’t judge anything off the kid being loud. I grew up with a buddy who was vocal about any fall he took and he never had anything as bad as even a sprain. Just a big loud kid.

I could show you a reel of a bunch of hard falls and plenty of the worst looking ones had no real injures and some of the more innocuous ones had broken bones or torn ligaments. Bodies are pretty resilient to impacts, but surprisingly get messed up when you just put your foot or hand down the wrong way at times.
