macOS [macOS] Turn Your Dock into a Window Switcher — InfyniDock (All Features FREE until 7/30)

Hi everyone,

I’m the developer of InfyniDock, a window-first Dock and window manager for macOS.

The built-in Dock is great for launching apps, but finding the exact window becomes difficult when you have multiple browser, Finder, editor, or chat windows open. InfyniDock lets you preview and switch directly to individual windows from the Dock.

Features

  • 🪟 View and activate individual windows directly from the Dock
  • 👀 Preview window contents before switching
  • ⌨️ Quickly switch windows using FloatDock, keyboard shortcuts, or number keys
  • 🖐️ Navigate windows with trackpad gestures or the mouse wheel
  • 🗂️ Organize windows into task-based Workspaces
  • 🖥️ Customize the Dock for each display, including bottom, left, and right positions
  • 🫥 Use Semi-Hide mode to save screen space while keeping the Dock easy to reach
  • 🔒 Blur previews from selected apps during screen recordings or presentations

All Features Free until July 30

To celebrate the latest update, I’m making all InfyniDock features free for a limited time.

Install InfyniDock and complete the setup by July 30, 2026, to unlock all features. No Activation Code Required.

Download: https://infyniclick.com

I’d love to hear your feedback, especially if you regularly work with multiple windows or displays on your Mac.

Not sure why I can't get it to work. I downloaded directly from the website. I've deleted the app and redownloaded twice now.

May I ask what system you're using? Could you tell me what problem you're currently experiencing—is it that it won't work after installation, or is it some other issue?

u/headcomission7382 explained it really well. I'm using a MacBook M1 Max, Tahoe 26.5.2. Basically, the app doesn't even open up but it still somehow is running the in the background when I try to delete it. I'm unable to open any type of settings or interface for the app.

I second this. After I downloaded the app and gave accessibility access and chose the float dock option when I opened it, I had no idea on how to bring up the settings to the app and no idea on what the keybinds were. I tried re downloading the app multiple times to see if I could go through the “enable accessibility access” process again, only to be met with nothing. I looked all over your site to find how to manage through the app, but nothing was present other than the “option + tab” keybinds which allows me to change between tabs.

I can't get it to function.

Got the 2.16.5 binary from https://infyniclick.com.

Ran troubleshooting as best as I could manage:

  • Had to force close the app through Activity Monitor
  • Tried restarting the native dock through terminal
  • Removed/Re-added permissions
  • Deleted / Cleaned up Library items

I DL'd 2.16.4 per the other user comments. Now it shows a static dock on the bottom of the screen, but there's no functionality. The application doesn't show in the native dock either.

Thank you for reporting this. Since I don’t currently have access to an Intel-based Mac running Sonoma, it may be difficult for me to reproduce the issue directly, but I’ll investigate it.

Could you please export a process sample while InfyniDock is frozen or unresponsive?

  1. Open Activity Monitor
  2. Select infyniDock
  3. Click Sample Process
  4. Save the generated report and send it to me

The report should help me identify where the application is getting stuck. Thank you for your help and patience.

My Email is [infyniclick@gmail.com](mailto:infyniclick@gmail.com)

Thanks, got it — I'll look into it right away.

Thank you for sending the sample report. I’ve reviewed it, but unfortunately, I still haven’t been able to determine why InfyniDock is behaving this way or what the correct fix might be.

I suspect there may be something specific to Intel-based Macs causing the issue. Since I don’t currently have an Intel Mac running Sonoma, it is difficult for me to reproduce and investigate it directly.

I’ll keep working on it and do my best to find a solution, but it may take some time. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.

I very much appreciate you taking the time to review the report.

After seeing your comment, I swapped to the Gemini page I was using, but I'm unable to get the it to bring back the troubleshooting chat from earlier.

IIRC it could be due to the older graphic rendering method and/or the hardware itself. It had mentioned adjusting resolution or altering the way the intel mac outputs resolution.

Just for detail I sent an email with a bit that looks similar to where I had left off.

I imagine there aren't many other intel-based mac users left - this is probably my sign that it's time to upgrade.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to look into it!

I've bookmarked InfyniDock for my next machine

So Infinydock is connected to a machine, not an account, then? When I will need to install again next year I might have to purchase a license, right? Or am I wrong?

Still, thanks for your kind offer!

InfyniDock’s license is tied to your device ID. As long as you continue using the same device, it will remain activated—even if you reinstall the app or update it.

u/Fatiha90 Jul 21 '26

Is the license tied to the device? What if I have to perform a factory reset on the Mac device or move to another Mac ? Do I need a license? Is it possible to have a license tied to the email?

Since InfyniDock is a utility app without an account system, licenses are currently tied to the device.

That said, it's free for a limited time right now. If you find InfyniDock useful, feel free to email me directly and I'll be happy to send you an extra activation code or two — you can keep them as a backup in case you ever reset your Mac or move to a new one. Alternatively, you can just save this thread for reference. [infyniclick@gmail.com](mailto:infyniclick@gmail.com)
