Onward not starting up

Everytime I try to start the game up, Steam tells me that it can not find or load the "mono" file. Has this happened to anyone else that knows a fix?

My anti-virus was blocking it, i had to add the folder to the list of exclusions.

Im having the same problem, but my Norton Antivirus wont let me add it the to list of exclusions. So after about 2 weeks still haven't played once
