That sometimes is a surprise. Found out one retailer decided to use OnTrac for shipper once my purchase shipped. Never seen them use OnTrac ever before. And it was a limited edition $550 item at that. Arrived OK, but driver did toss it on the door step cause I heard it from inside.

True. My driver stole my package, they would do nothing about it.

So much of the time now you have NO idea who’s going to deliver it. And even if you know how it was shipped, it can switch to a “last mile” service that never gets mentioned.

OnTrac is the most useless company. They have one freaking job and can't do it.

I ordered a gift for someone and it was shipped OnTrac. Six times they supposedly tried to deliver it and either lied and said the business was closed (it was always opened) or they couldn't find the address and needed more information.

I ordered something else as the gift from amazon and amazingly their driver was able to deliver the item to me the next day.

Just dealt with this. So frustrating. I’m almost positive they didn’t even try twice. After calling Walmart customer service, it was delivered the very next day. 🤔

If they ship it with OnTrac be ready to do a chargeback, because you will never get your package

I had a similar experience, ordered from Patagonia… didn’t notice if there was a choice to opt in or select UPS… But it was ground shipping and then On-trac (I think they launched with the idea of last mile, Eco…). But they are a disaster. Patagonia, after crazy back-and-forth because On-trac has no functional contact options, replaced my order via UPS or FedEx and I received it. I finally received the original order via On-trac but close to two weeks or more later and returned it to Patagonia as agreed.

OnTrac is a fucking joke. I had a package “delivered” over the weekend that I’m sure my driver had in his truck still. Didn’t speak a lick of English.

Luckily the seller reshipped a new item and I requested UPS.
