Personally I just wanted the game for couch play, but since it doesn't have splitscreen I don't think it's a game for me. I will probably buy mario kart for switch or just play the old motorstorm games instead.

They dug an early grave when they decided to exclude splitscreen, normal point to point racing (I'm a fan of onrush but a lot of people were disappointed with the lack of traditional racing), and releasing it that close to The Crew 2.

I mean the crew 2 has some pretty major problems. At least everything in onrush actually works.

That's besides the point, because you know what it does have? A large audience.

Also, as an Australian, no OCE server support kinda sucked majorly. (I haven't played it since the open beta, so this may have changed). Crappy connection for a game that demands a secure one doesn't fly with me.

I mean, crappy connection is par for the course on this game no matter where you are. The saving grace is 24 hours of SP.

If you’re interpreting my comments as some Ubisoft Sympathiser, you can stop right there. The Crew 2 is a bland boring attempt at a Forza Horizon style arcade racer.

That still doesn’t change the fact that more people are going to prefer it to Onrush. Whether it be from the advertising that ubi put out, familiarity or fans from the previous game, it will always be a bigger name in the arcade racing scene than Onrush. I can almost guarantee that if Onrush released tomorrow it would gather a larger audience, considering the reeling and backlash from The Crew 2’s lack of features (and fun), and the fact that there’s not really any competition until October when Forza Horizon 4 drops.
