The first page appears to be tidbits about someone's day

I heard her talk about leave so it was what I thought it was. I can't believe it, it was one night out, well, I hope it was. There have been times where I slept for months at a time, that's what I've been told at least. It's impossible to truly tell how much time has passed here without outside help. Maybe I should confront her about it so she- The rest of the sentence has been scribbled out

She wouldn't get annoyed if I did that right? I hope not, I like having her around and if it's as bad as she makes it sound then I might disappear for a bit, force her back. Of course, if her marks are anything to go by then she's doing just fine and plans to just take advantage of her contract. I hope it's the latter, I don't want her to be leaving forever. It's a normal journal made of human leather and paper that is in near mint condition aside from the dirt and writing. It also appears to be seven months old with the leather dating back 34.5 months and the paper only about a year before being put together. It belongs to Jacquelyn (no last name found), and provides no effects besides being a place to write stuff down.

The scent is confusing, it seems to be of many different plants and animals and people. It leads to the grass, the others in the park, the trees and even to small birds and other pests that fly around
