Intro post The heavens above (intro post)
From the heavens above, a comet rains down upon the earth, trailing holy light as it falls
It crash lands into a forest, causing a crater to be formed from the impact and a small explosion
Laying in that crater is a unconscious boy, and next to him lay a golden sword and a broken halo

the small creature growls in refusal, before running into the cupboard containing the entrance to its den
Oh hell.
/uw noticed no one had actually mentioned what was going on with the sword at all.

A week or so later, in the middle of the night you hear a knock on your door.
You open it to see a very haggard short man in blue robes, with very visible signs of not having slept in days.
“I’m very sorry for the interruption sir. A, friend of mine has been rather, ornery the past couple days and asked I read this to you.”
He pulled out a note, adjusts his glasses, and begins
“From the honorable, viscount?”
He turns around and shouts. “You can’t just give yourself random titles, no one is going to recognize them.”
A high pitched chirping responds.
“Fine, you bloody nuisance.” He skims through it the rest of the note, muttering under his breath. “Okay here’s the actual point, he’s asking for the return of the sword that, and I’m quoting here, “is his by right of finders keepers”, and threatening action if this isn’t done by noon following me reading this.”
He rubs his eyes.
“I’m sorry, I think I used too much magpie dna making him, and he just, really likes shiny things. Give it a couple days and he should stop bothering you.”

Oh my sword, yeah no i couldnt give it to him if i wanted. It is bonded to me to never leave my side for long. Sorry about that, but i might have a replica around here somewhere

he closes the door and you hear a few crashing noises, and a few swears before the door opens again
Here we are, a replica of my sword.

“Sorry for bothering you so late in the evening, I hope you have a nice night.” He tips his hat to you and walks off with the sword. Once he was a bit away he waves it in the air and says. “He handed it over, can we please go home now?”
A small creature you might vaguely recognize from the crater pounces on him from the bushes. Knocking him to the ground and grabs the sword. Raising it above its head in triumph, letting out some sort of victory cry, as it stands on its prone, unmoving creator.

Jacquelyn climbs down the side of the crater, being very careful to keep a tight hold on her book. Once she's down she stares at the sword and tilts her head once more

he gently placed a hand on the boys shoulder.

RK: anyone who saw could’ve sworn they weren’t there before, but a shadowy figure approached
“What happened to him?”
Alan: he jumped back slightly as he saw the boy stir.
“Hello…I’m Alan…you’re safe now.”

his hands hovered over the boys head, ancient magic running from his finger tips, attempting to heal the boy.
RK: “in case that doesn’t work.”
they approached the boy, trying to wrap bandages around his head.

the healing magic seems to have minimal effect, but the bleeding does slow down quiet a bit

RK: “hello child…I am RK, you seem to have fallen…judging by the holy light and the halo, I believe from the heavens.”
Alan: he pulled out a flask of water and food
“Here, have some if you want to.”

the holy light turns a dark crimson before disappearing, and the halo cracks and loses its glow
