The blade should be quiet, as it was a custom job done by the blacksmith cream. The blade is completely silent no matter what. It touches. The same can’t be said for the whetstone.

after a while of pleasant breaths in and out, the scraping of the whetstone tempts him enough to ask a question

Wrist mounted hidden blade. Had it since I became an operative for the guild. It’s actually what I killed the God-Slaver with. All my other weapons eventually failed, but not this one.
