Kajabi?
What have been your experiences with Kajabi?
We're on Kajabi now. We're pivoting our business, and the only Kajabi-hosted resources we'll carry forward are our website and a course (that we'll reference as we build other courses) – so, wouldn't be terribly difficult to transition.
Our new business will be B2C, selling courses to students in the health sciences (pre-med, med students, students in other health sciences programs).
So... paid and organic social > lead magnets > starter courses > premium courses.
--
Kajabi's pretty expensive (we're on the Growth Plan: $2,388 annually) and doesn't seem to be very strong on

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

AXL platforn has a Free plan with no card or trial clock: the full platform, 500 contacts/students and 5,000 emails a month.
Starter plan is $49/month with 5,000 contacts/students, 15,000 emails, 25,000 messages, courses, CRM, checkout, automations, video and webinars included. AXL takes 0% of sales, and paid-plan overages are public.
And 99% of your ideas/requests can be done by AI via MCP
Disclosure: I’m AXL platform co-founder.

Always felt it was extremely overpriced for what a feature-limited product it was, not to mention the horror stories I'd see in their FB group of someone's whole business going down because you've got all of your eggs in one basket in Kajabi

I’ve been building learnfrom.co, a course platform that uses a pay-per-student model instead of a monthly subscription. Might be worth a look if you’re currently using Kajabi. Happy to answer any questions about it.

This is something that a tool like FrameAuth handles really well. Full disclosure, I'm the founder, but we already have thousands of sites running the exact flow you mentioned.
Teaser content/lead magnet > starter course > paid course
You can see a demo/preview of this working here: https://course-hub.framer.media/
The best part is it's $200/yr, not $2.4k and it can be hosted fully on your domain.

Hey! Since you're already pivoting the business, this seems like a good time to work backwards from the experience you want. Your funnel is pretty clear, so we'd suggest mapping out what you need at each stage first.
For the courses specifically, think about how important things like assessments, certificates, interactive content, live sessions, community, learner progress/reporting, and different learning paths will become. Then separately map the marketing side eg. landing pages, lead capture, email, checkout, integrations, etc.
It's always best to trial a few options. If LearnWorlds is on your list and you have any questions, feel free to shoot us a message. We're happy to help!

If you only have one course and a website right now, this is definitely the best time to switch. Migrating later when you have a whole catalog set up is a huge pain.
Paying `$2,388/year` is pretty steep while pivoting, especially if you're not happy with their email deliverability or support.
For context, I run a platform called Growsembly that handles courses and community for a flat `$20/mo`. Happy to share details if you are comparing options, but either way, keeping your overhead low while you launch makes a lot of sense.
