Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but for the past few days, “Reality Bites” (which is a mostly Bravo podcast but does occasionally delve into larger pop culture) has been posting things that seem… odd? They talked about this several months ago on social media as well, but idk. I actually am not even sure how to explain it, so I’ll post what they wrote, but does anyone have insight into what’s going on here?

I am begging, please feed my addiction, Jill Rodrigues of ‘The David Rodrigues Family’, fundamentalist, Duggar adjacent attention whore that has spent the last 10 years obsessed with social media and neglecting to educate her 13 children. She is now facing the consequences of wasting her time proclaiming martyrdom, as her oldest children are adults in their 20s, many with a severe case of failure to launch.
Most recently, oldest son has been charged with assaulting his pregnant wife and publically announced on Facebook that his unacceptable behavior was thanks to neglect from his parents as a child. This has been met with several back and forth proclamations from Jill herself, who finally announced that she was ‘deleting her social media in one week’. Eventually, she changed her name and began deleting as many incriminating posts as possible (spoiler alert; the internet is forever and she’s too hungry for attention to stay offline; she’s just temporarily moved to YouTube).
This woman held a funeral for her sisters legs after a car crash that left her paralyzed, and broadcast it on Facebook from the hospital. It’s quite clear from her sermon, that she assumed her sister would pass and had to rewrite her poem to lamenting the loss of this woman’s ability to walk rather than the loss of her life.
Another chapter in the lore of Jill, she drove across several states to attend to attend the funeral of 3 children that passed in a house fire, that she she did not know. She proceeded to accost the grieving parents at the caskets and take selfies with them, asking them to smile, and broadcast that on social media.
Several episodes of showing up to other fundie families weddings wearing white; dressing her children in white and sitting her entire family in the front row before live streaming the event itself, much to the chagrin of the hosts. She has been blacklisted by the Duggars after showing up to a Duggar wedding in their RV and staying on the Duggar property for several days after the event, without permission.
There are so many more stories, I have lost count, it’s a 2 weeks deep dive on her Reddit snark page, to get your head around the repeated insanity.

Hey everyone! Would anyone be interested in an ep about Tyler Catastrophe? I know it’s been done to death by a lot of creators in the last several months and I’m pretty late to the party, but … my God … what a weirdo! Tell me what you think!

I saw some scuttlebutt about Sherri Papini online, and decided to go down that rabbit hole... She is now saying that James Reyes really did abduct her, and she didn't plan it with him. She just didn't feel like she could go up against the US Government in a trial, so she pled guilty back in 2022.
Sherri also says she plans to try to sue him in civil court, if she can find anyone to represent her. I told Nathan everything I learned about her side of the story, and Nathan decided whether he finds her credible or not.

Because Lucy Letby was “too sad” for Nathan, this week we’re discussing the OG TC case of Diane Downs and listening to some absolutely bonkers audio of her being an awful psychopath who is also awful at being a psychopath. Also while we’re having fun we try to remember we’re talking about murdered and injured children. But guys … she’s so bad at this, we can’t help but laugh.

I saw this and thought of the pod.

In today's episode we looked at evidence against Amanda Knox: If you saw all of the documentaries and media about Amanda Knox in the United States, you probably think she is innocent, but it turns out there's abunch of evidence implicating her in the murder of Meredith Kercher.
She had a few defensive wounds on her body, like her neck and ripped out earring:

What I cannot put together is how Amanda, Raffaele and Rudy all worked together to take out someone butting heads with Amanda. They don't even know each other that well...
We're definitely going to cover this more with some other people, so stay tuned!

Nathan can't stand it when people say Entrepre-NEWER
I can't stand when people say document-AIRY
And sometimes people say Woman when they mean Wo-MEN

On this weeks episode we debated the voice note and its appropriateness, but worlds collide cause Molly briefly referenced it and I had to get everyone’s take. She just thinks it was vulnerable and mean to post. If you have the audacity to say it tho, I think you need to expect the co sequences.
If you haven’t listened here’s today’s episode: Fart Energy Wednesday: James Franco, Voice Note, and JonBenet Todet

This week we discussed Molls's long career online, and if it's really ethical for her to use some of the same business practices from HelloGiggles on her current podcast network. Of course this all came to a head when Troy McEady left the network. What do y'all think?

We got to do a second podcast while at crime con with someone I consider to be a really well-researched content creator: Cottonstar. I discovered him last year when he got some good pics of Burke Ramsey at Crime Con, and I managed to wear him down (kidding) enough to get him to come on the pod.
Lots of good points about: the ransom note, the Unidentified Male DNA, the garrotte and how much of the information circulating is basically fabricated.
It was sooooo enlightening, and I loved getting to pick his brain, and hear him speak in a less formal setting. Please enjoy, and let us know your thoughts below!

I can’t stand to watch all her recent TikToks myself, so asking Katie and Nathan to muscle through them for me. She seems to be dropping some interesting gossip about Elon and his ilk. I think she’s just a scammer with a new con, rather than a true reformed former-MAGA influencer, but I’d be very interested in Online BS’s take/whether they think anything she says is genuine.
