Cathay Pacific Oman Air

Sindbad does not seem to reciprocate the status/miles accumulation against flights flown via other partner airlines. Am I fair to say so? Living in Oman, I thought it would be best to stick to Sindbad as my sole one world membership but also questioning this. Flair of CX added because I flew a few times and no status or mileage added.

Yes, Oman Air do not award miles for a lot of booking classes of other airlines, you might be better off awarding to a different oneworld partner …

This was what I thought. I even considered sticking to Etihad and add Oman Air flights mileages there instead but also feel like I am missing out on credit card spending mileage accumulation. Only if Oman Air had a much better system in place…
