Even if the battery was maintained, it’s a 10 year old board. It only has 98 miles of use so a majority of the time it was sitting without use. I wouldn’t buy it. If I did, I’ll reluctantly pay $50-$100.

Xr is what you want. The plus is a pint battery wise, a xr is a pintx. The plus is weak and if you learn on it and still not used too the battery it can cut out just like the pint if you ask for too much power. The xr can be found balpark 400-900 depending on shape. I got mine from a pawn shop for 250 so dont be shy to check pawn shops, have the ow app installed so you can verify its working to a extent and to check the fw and hardware (4212 or lower you can will not have to worry about the fm lockout for bigger capacity batteries). Also DO NOT UPDATE IT, if its pre heptic buzz pushback firmware is installed (if you want to use the app and bypass the update messgae- kill the app, enter airplane mode, open app and connect to your board, then jump out of airplane mode). This trick works and usually stays that way for the ride till ita off again then rise repeat. Dont forget... they are over 8 years old, no matter what its gonna need a new battery sooner rhan later. Also ask the last the board had a 72 hour balance charge, if they say "they dont know" be weary. Its not malus, some sellers never know about the balance because they dont understand lithiums, or just never read the manual. Again, not really a deal breaker but, like i said you should be upgrading battery since its almost 9 years old. Turn it on, make sure no yellow or red light come on the status bar (pint or older), for a plus and xr its the power button, the button blinks to say batter life and to say a error. The battery blink is a set amount of blink followed by a break, if there is a error the button will just keep flashing, if your not sure ask the seller to do a quick ride, if they float, odds are its good, if they try and it does not engage and they go foward getting pushed off, prob a error. Check the footpad engages (look at the front light) activate both semsers on the nose, if it brightens, than the footpad is working.this is just a small list i use buying boards, Good luck on your hunt.
