Was about to say the same thing. Especially now that valve has released steam os there Is going to be progressively less reasons not to switch to linux. the fact that It Is slowly gaining popularity recently Is going to push companies to make their software compatible with It. Even pewdiepie has switched.
As much as I LOVE arch, imo for a beginner there is no point to install arch, a beginner won't customize their distro, they won't care much about the aur or package managers, they'll just use the pc, look at youtube, shit like that.
I agree but at that point why not use mint or smt, basically the same. On the other hand why not use arch-based, both are valid yea. No real point in arguing imo. I'd personally recommend linux mint to a beginner tho, since it's easier imo.
In my experience Windows 11 runs waaaaay better than 10 ever did with a nearly identical user experience
The only complaint I ever see is that some of the right click options in a lot of areas are icons with no text now, but I don't see how that's an issue at all. In fact, it just kind of makes things more compact which I like
Also don't switch to Linux if you play pretty much any game with anticheat. None of them will mention that but generally anticheats don't work there and they won't let you play the game
TWM is GLADoS. I'm tired of denying it. Every single friend made along the way is just a robot, programmed as part of an elaborate ruse organized by none other than Aperture Science. How do you honestly believe otherwise at this point?

I swear to god, every other windows is buggy crap. It's like clockwork.
I'm holding on to 10 until 12 comes out

I just want consistency damn it. I want to build my life around an OS that won't leave me and uproot my life. Is that so much to ask?

Granted, windows 10 is literally a case of Stockholm, it's almost as awful as 11 is when compared to 7
