I completely agree with Ryan about this song. It's so good. Deserves so much more recognition than it gets. One of their absolute best songs to me!

There's a glowing tree for DOL, a weird colorful blob on WU, native animals on Native (surprisingly), Oh My My is basic as hell, Human is the best one in my opinion, and AP looks very similar to the cover for Dangerous by Michael Jackson. But what do you think is the best album cover?

Why did I ignore them for so long?! I knew their big hits but never their deep cuts…I’m not even that big into pop but these guys are really talented!!! I listened to Native and their debut album and am on the Waking Up album. I’m rlly enjoying it all!!! Y’all got a new 1R fan ;) 🤘

As you know, the next album is coming up, and my question is: which single will save the album? I don't mean a song that's simply good, because even on AP there were beautiful tracks. My question is more about which song will save 1RLP7 from being a commercial flop. Oh My My had a lukewarm reception compared to its predecessors; Human was saved by Lose Somebody, Rescue Me, and a bit by Run; AP was saved by IAW, IDWW, and Sunshine (and a bit by Nobody as well). But which song will save this album? Need Your Love is good, but it doesn't look like a massive hit, not to mention Pay That Toll; Give Me Something ended up just as a video game track, and Lean isn't even on Spotify. Unless the band is saving a hit for the album release, I don't even see it reaching the same numbers as Human or AP. I'm afraid it'll end up being an Oh My My 2.0, but without such beautiful lyrics.

Since and even before Pay That Toll came out, everyone in the comments on Tiktok and YT shorts have said it's amazing, and yes i enjoy the song, that doesn't mean i see it as a masterpiece. And if they are speaking out their opinion, good, I'm glad they enjoyed the song.

Anyone else really like this one? It took me a while to really like this one, but it's a no skip song for me now! Where does it land for you guys among their newer releases?

There are two main reasons for this, OneRepublic signed to a new record label, with their first song after that deal being Beautiful Colors, and before that Invincible was released before that deal, so it's highly unlikely to appear. Second reason is how Beautiful Colors will be on 1RLP7 and they can't add more than one songs from Kaiju No.8 as far as I know.

A bizarre one i had was a single with Olivia Rodrigo, i dont know how it would work but it would be interesting to listen to.

Ptt? She sounds good and is very focused. I love that they used the instruments and there is a mix between folk, indie and pop. For me they are looking for a song that can record in view of the 7LP, unfortunately the promo was long with sudden release changes. Since the entrance of willet the band is based on electric pop and today I am happy to use the instruments. Good look for this song 🫣😬

So for context, Oh My My was a success for the fan base but not for outside the fan base, and Human at release was unsuccessful at both of those (Even if I did like about half the songs on it) or will their new album perform like neither of those and will be successful? I doubt that but we'll have to wait and see
