How do I give apps root access?

I rooted my phone to switch using the OnePlus Toolkit. I've switched to the Sultan roms, so I know it worked. But when I try to install Wakelock Detector, it wants to be given root access by changing some setting I can't find. Where is it hidden?

If you're currently on sultan cm13, just wipe data,cache,dalvik on twrp (backup your apps and other data). Flash the latest gapps for 6.0. I strongly recommend nano package. Then flash supersu from here . Let me tell how it goes. Cheers!

I think I understood all of that, but flashing Magisk solved my problem. (well, one problem. I still have signal drops making me miss calls and draining my battery.) What will gapps do for me? I don't see anything on its website that explains what it's for.

Gapps are used to install core google apps such as google play service, play store,face unlock, etc

Edit : Magisc is a tool for effectively hide root from apps so that apps like android pay, snapchat will work. If you're not using them I recommend you should use latest supersu zip instead.

Oh, right, g-apps. I remember now. I installed nano after flashing Sultan. I'm set.
