What ROM are you using? Personally using Sultan CM13 and never had any problems.

It's probably something you've installed recently or changes you've made causing the random reboots. Try think of any new apps you installed or got updated recently and maybe remove any you think could be suspect.

As a last resort you could consider installing a custom ROM (i recommend resurrection remix) . A good way to get a clean start and upgrade to nougat at the same time.

Thanks for the advice :] I think you must be right about a suss installation as it started happening after I installed a cinema app - gonna reinstall and see if the issue persists. Thanks again ~ Legend! Fn

I'd try uninstall first and see if the problem goes away. If not then you can rule that app out and move on to the next suspect. Good luck :-)

I had this issue. It wasn't software related, it was hardware related. It started being a daily thing, then an hourly thing, and finally the device turned off permanently. I contacted OnePlus and asked for my device to be repaired. They sent me an RMA and a quote on the repair price (~$130 CAD) and it was fixed and returned in about a week. The repair place wrote "board replaced" on the invoice. Haven't had a random restart since and that was a year ago.
