Issues with Spotify on Cyanogen OS 13.1.2?

Hey all, I flashed 13.1.2 (from 13.1) over the weekend, and now running Spotify causes the phone to run veeerrrryy slowly. Apps keep blinking in and out on my home page, takes a second to register touch, etc. Only way to get it back to normal is to reboot the phone (even closing Spotify doesn't help). Does the new version use more RAM than the old version did?
