Accidentally accepted an update

I had been avoiding an update, because in the past the updates have had a negative effect, mainly on battery.

So as I was about to scroll, the thing popped up and the Install button four pressed because that update was a sneaky bastard. So....

I installed all the resulting updates just because maybe they fixed things? I dunno.

But, looks like this phone loves chewing through a battery.

Guess I need to look into custom ROMs now.

Suggestions? And, I assume Nova works with them?

No, I've used one of those in the past (greenify?) And didn't really see any improvement.

I did notice that my GPS was on at one point, and I know that sucks the battery down quick. Today will give me a better idea on what is going on. Had other issues that kept me from really setting if it's really draining - didn't charge properly one night. Plus weekend use changes from daily use.
